Language is a medium through which People of different regions, culture and languages come close to each other. To encourage inter reciprocity to exchange at linguistic level and learning of other Indian/ foreign languages, bilingual/ trilingual/ multilingual dictionaries may prove to be helpful. Central Hindi Directorate has published/ is publishing dictionaries not only to facilitate people of different languages with the rich vocabulary of Indian languages, but also to achieve the objectives of establishing Hindi in the international arena and to include it in the list of recognized languages of the UN.
